Green County Foods, Inc. was founded in Monroe, Wisconsin in 1982. We are well established in the foodservice and contract manufacturing arenas, offering high quality, hand decorated, European-style pastries and other customer creations. Green County Foods proudly offers the Richly Deserved brand for wholesale, foodservice and catering.
Our state-of-the-art bakery is currently the largest hand decorating facility in the U.S. making us the leading producer of Petits Fours in the country, manufacturing over 40 million Petits Fours per year. With a 134,000 square-foot bakery, a built-in Research Kitchen and a highly awarded and experienced Research and Development team, we are able to offer more varieties and flavors than our competitors, also providing unique and custom-blended ingredients for proprietary items.
All food items pass rigorous Quality Assurance testing with only the best manufacturing practices in operation. Our Bakery received a Superior Rating from the American Institute of Baking (AIB) for 8 consecutive years (2003 – 2010). In January 2011 we became GFSI Certified for both FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 and were re-certified in 2014 with no major or minor infractions. Further, in 2012 we completed our third party surveillance audit with no major or minor infractions.
In addition, we have been awarded The American Tasting Award of Excellence from Awards of America and more than a dozen Paperboard Packaging Council Awards.
